Bio
Iris Dukatt is an emerging queer independent theatre / filmmaker. Recent directing credits include: Long Pork (Official Selection of Fantasia, Newfest, and Hollyshorts), Hungry Women (Winner of the Lighthouse Series at Soho Playhouse), Piglet, MYTHICC, Pretty Girls Don’t Light Their Own Cigarettes, and SUCKER.
Independent producing from a young age, they co-founded The Unit 14 Theatre Company outside of Chicago. Their work at Unit 14 has been featured in The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and WGN radio. Iris worked as an Associate Producer on the short film GAPS (Tribeca FF 2023, NAACP Image Award Nomination).
As an assistant, Iris has supported director Jenn Shaw and worked as a talent assistant for both Apple TV’s feature release Echo Valley and HBO’s limited series White House Plumbers. They are an alumni of SDC’s Observership program and received their undergraduate degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
