The Play:

In this modern adaptation we watch as a teenage girl reckons with reading Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet for the first time. Our young reader desperately searches for the great love story she was promised. Pocket Universe turns its attention to the power of perspective in this production; and how, as time and humanity evolve, the classics are received today.
